Creating Internet Video in Three Easy Steps

Turbine Video Encoder is a sophisticated and powerful tool yet it can be used in an extremely simple way. Internet video can be created by following these three easy steps:

1. Choose a Player, Settings and a Source Video

TVE includes a wealth of professionally designed Players ready to be used by your videos. In the first screen, Turbine Video Encoder presents a list of available Players:

• Scroll until you find a Player suitable to your needs and select it.
• Choose your source video by directly typing its location or by clicking the Browse button.
• Choose encoding Settings according to where are you going to use your video. For instance, if your viewers have broadband connections, then you can choose High Quality Settings.
• Click the Start button to continue.

2. Encode Your Video

Turbine Video Encoder shows a preview of the video you just opened:

To encode the video to FLV Flash Video:

• Press the Encode button. You'll see a progress bar indicating the progress so far and the preview window shows the part that is being processed.
• Once it finishes, a complete preview with the chosen player is displayed.

3. Publish Your Video

Now that the video is converted and ready to be used in any web site, you must save it:

• Click the Publish button and choose if you want to save the video to your local disk or immediately upload it to your website.
• Choose to save to your local disk and choose a filename in the File Save Dialog that shows.

The video is now ready to upload into your web site:

Four files with the name you entered but different file extensions will be created - make sure to copy all of them to your web site.
